About

Hi, I’m Donna (Rodeo Girl) I started dancing with my mum, Diane and younger sister Cheryl back in 1996.  In 2001 I suggested to  Diane, that I should set up a class or two in Bradford.  We attended Instructor classes with BWDA, passed the exams with distinctions.
In June 2001 I opened my first class and now  I have five in Guiseley and one at Queenswood Leeds.  The age range of our dancers is teenager to 90!  Mixed gender.

A big moment for us,  when invited to appear on A Question Of Sport BBC 1 Program. 11 dancers, Mum and myself danced  for hours while the film crew filmed Olympian Gail Emms and footballer Lee Sharpe  miming to Islands In The Stream, for Comic Relief. It was a proud time for all, including the dancers that missed out, they can say ‘That’s our dance Instructor on TV!’ And the fact it was for charity, something else close to our hearts.  In 2005 we raised £2005 for the 2004 Tsunami disaster.  Over the years we have collected a mountain of animal food and money for dogs and cats.  We have also adopted (sponsored) two dogs at the Dogs Trust.  We have lost count how many thousands of pounds we have raised for charities like - British Heart Foundation, Cancer research, MS society, Air Ambulance, and many many more charities, the donations all coming from our generous family of dancers.

In 2015 added to our line-up, another Instructor, Keith, to cover for holidays and emergencies etc.  we thank him deeply for all he has done, so far.
